Production Details Vines were 33–43 years old, planted at 2,500–4,000 vines/ha, with a stated yield range of 3,000–7,000 L/ha and elevation of 135–220 m. Grapes were hand-picked and manually sorted. Fermentation was spontaneous: 80% semi-carbonic with 0% stems and 20% carbonic with 100% stems, both for 10 days in 3,500 L used wooden vessels. Maturation was 8 months: 60% in 500 L used small wooden barrels and 40% in 1,000 L used large wooden barrels. No sulfur was added. Recommended serving temperature was 15–17°C, and aging potential was described as high, at 40 years.
