Production Details Whole clusters were pressed; fermentation occurred on the lees in oak barrels and stainless-steel tanks with indigenous yeasts; 40% of the wine did not undergo malolactic fermentation. Producer-stated maturation was 10–12 months in French oak selected according to vineyard and vintage, using first-, second- and third-use barrels. Winebow further specifies battonage, 225 L barriques, 10 months before bottling, 12 months bottle aging, 2,200 vines/acre, a yield of 2.5–3 tons/acre and vineyard elevations of 3,117–4,757 feet.
