Production Details The grapes are harvested from old vines in the Perdeberg area. The vines are in natural balance, giving a low yield of 7 tons per hectare to enhance fruit complexity. For this aromatic blend, the grapes are hand selected and harvested in small crates. Upon arrival at the cellar, further selection takes place to ensure only the finest bunches are used. After the grapes are de-stemmed and crushed, two hours skin contact is given to extract maximum flavour. Only free running juice is used to create this unique blend. 40% of this Blend has been aged for 10 months in 500 litre French oak barrels, combination of 1st, 2nd and 3rd fill.
