Production Details Handpicked after repeated ripeness tasting, then carefully transported to the cellar, destemmed, and gently crushed. The must fermented on the skins for approximately 10 days, reaching a maximum of 28C, with daily pump-overs. After fermentation the wine was pressed gently, then the varietal components underwent natural malolactic fermentation and matured in a combination of 1st- and 2nd-fill French oak barrels for 24 months before final barrel selection and blending trials. Vineyard pest and disease control follows South African IPW standards and producer partners adhere to WIETA accreditation.
