Production Details Released only in exceptional vintages and limited quantities. Harvested in the cool pre-dawn hours, transported to Boplaas, and fermented in temperature controlled open-top cement fermenters (kuipe/lagars) with manual punch-downs for gentle flavour and colour extraction. Blended prior to malolactic fermentation and matured for 14 months in a combination of 300L and 500L first- and second-fill fine-grained French oak barrels before bottling unfined and unfiltered. Wine of origin: Western Cape.
