Production Details Produced from four Portuguese varieties on old vines at the farm in Calitzdorp together with small parcels of top-grade fruit from supplying vineyards. Grapes were hand harvested at optimal ripeness, fermented in lagars with intense manual pigeage, fortified with wine spirit, and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Product attributes list 18 months in Portuguese pipes; body text states maturation for two years in old, large-format French oak barrels.
