Production Details Hand-harvested grapes from unirrigated Swartland bush vines were destemmed and gently crushed before fermenting in open concrete tanks with manual punch-downs. After malolactic fermentation, the components matured in seasoned French and American oak for 12 months, then were blended and returned to barrel for added depth and harmony. Vineyard yields were 2.5 to 4.5 tons per hectare.
