Production Details Typical Polkadraai Hills Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from a single vineyard block next to the cellar. Combination of pump overs and punch downs initially, with fewer pump overs and no punch downs later in fermentation. Aged for 12 months in 21% new oak and 21% second-fill oak. Winemaker notes say 6% Cabernet Franc and 3% Malbec were blended in. Drinking beautifully on release and expected to gain complexity for at least 8 more years.
