Production Details Cabernet Franc grapes were hand-picked in March 2022 from a single block with Tukulu-dominant soils and high decomposed granite content, 7 km from the ocean. Methodical leaf removal exposed bunches to the sun to avoid excessive green characteristics. Grapes were processed immediately after early-morning picking, hand sorted and destemmed, then fermented in 5000L truncated open-top casks for 10-15 days at 18-26°C with gentle punch-downs. After pressing, the wine underwent malolactic fermentation and 14 months of maturation in second-fill French oak. Planting date: 2001. Rootstock: Richter 110. Irrigation: drip. Trellis: Extended Perold. Hectares planted: 2.43 ha.
