Production Details Official producer PDF titled "Unwooded Chardonnay 2018". Sourced from 3 vineyards in the Stellenbosch area selected for diversity from soil types, planting material, row direction, and proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. Grapes were hand harvested. Partial whole bunch pressing and overnight static settling obtained clear juice for fermentation. Different yeast strains and fermentation temperatures were selected to obtain fruit expression and highlight the vintage. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine spent 7 months on the lees in tank with regular stirring, then was filtered before bottling. Winemaker: Altus Treurnicht. Ageing potential: up to 2 years in ideal cellar conditions.
