Production Details Official producer product copy describes Lone Wolf Cinsault 2022 as coming from an old Stellenbosch vineyard planted in 1953 when Pinotage planting material was scarce. The vineyard was originally part of a larger Pinotage block; the remaining Cinsault vines stand alone as a heritage site. Additional producer page sections describe the site as located in Bottelary Hills / Polkadraai Hills with proximity to the ocean and soils of weathered granite, shale, and decomposed dolomite granite.
