Production Details Official producer product page title currently labels this SKU as a 2022 x 6 case, but the winemaker notes and analysis on the same page explicitly identify the wine as the 2020 vintage. Made from the best and carefully selected grapes on the farm. The Cabernet Sauvignon component was matured in new oak, while the other varieties were matured in 3rd, 4th, and older-fill barrels for 18 months. After bottling, the wine spent another 8 months in bottle before release. Opstal states the Carl Everson range aims for complexity, balance, and elegance without overpowering oak extraction.
