Production Details Warm, dry start to the growing season with significant rain from October to December 2021, followed by cool harvest nights and persistent wind. Yield reported as 3-5 tons/ha. Handpicked and sorted in the vineyard. 70% whole bunch pressed in a basket press and the balance gently crushed and pressed. Barrel fermented with naturally occurring vineyard yeast in 400L and 700L French oak barrels, about 10% new, for 10 months on the lees. Lightly fined with bentonite, unfiltered, and bottled by hand. Volatile acidity reported at 0.68 g/L.
