Production Details This was an extraordinary vintage, quite unlike anything we have experienced before. The harvest was two weeks early, completed in four weeks (instead of our customary seven), the result of a combination of lower-than-average rainfall and greater sunlight intensity. The grapes were extremely healthy, with thick skins and unusually low juice content. Full ripeness was achieved surprisingly quickly, despite the lower-than-average maximum temperatures during the crucial December to March period. This makes 2015 surprisingly cooler than the celebrated 2013, 2012 and 2009 vintages, yet the resulting wines are fuller and more sumptuous and concentrated. Production: 100.16 cases.
