Production Details The 2019 season showed promise with improved winter rains, but variable weather and continuous temperature fluctuations resulted in inconsistent bud break, uneven flowering and set, followed by slow and uneven ripening. Reds were most affected and overall yields were down. Grape bunches were hand-picked and sorted in the KWV The Mentors cellar. After fermentation, the most promising wines were selected for barrel maturation, then reselected after 12 months for a further six months before blending. Yield: 6-8 tons/ha. Total production: 22,400 L.
