Production Details Cabernet Franc clone CF214 led the blend, with Merlot clone MO343 the second component. Grapes were hand harvested in the early morning, cooled overnight at 4C, and hand sorted to berry level before natural fermentation. The wine spent 25 days on the skins, was gravity drained and basket pressed to barrel, then inoculated for malolactic fermentation and matured for a further 18 months in 68% new French oak with the balance in second- to third-fill barrels.
