Production Details 100% Chardonnay from La Fosse, Némery, and Champ Caïn vineyards in Avize. Planting years 1962-1983. Vinification in oak casks (40-75 hectolitres) and partly in tanks. Bottled May 30, 1996. Aged 14 years on lees with cork and clamp closure. Zero dosage. Spring frosts occurred during the growing year, followed by long period of warm, rainy weather, good summer, then rain in September. Harvest September 22, 1995 under cool and sunny conditions.
