Production Details Terrasse is a barrel-fermented white blend from the terraced vineyards on the estate. Small batches were selected according to ripeness, harvested by hand and vinified separately. The wine was fermented by indigenous yeast in seasoned French oak barrels, then matured on the lees for 12 months and bottled by hand with minimal fining or filtration. The 2023 vintage followed a cold, wet winter, warm spring with regular rain, and a stop-start harvest lasting about seven weeks. Keermont processed 89 tons in the winery. Block composition: Low Road Chenin Blanc 30% (planted 2007, 8.9 ton/Ha), Bobbejaan Chenin Blanc 16% (2009, 7.9 ton/Ha), Uitkyk Sauvignon Blanc 15% (1988, 2.5 ton/Ha), Low Road Chardonnay 12% (2007, 8.0 ton/Ha), Die Terrasse Chardonnay 3% (2009, 1.9 ton/Ha), Cottage Lane Viognier 12% (2006, 10.7 ton/Ha), Riverside Roussanne 10% (2014, 8.1 ton/Ha), Riverside Marsanne 2% (2014, 3.9 ton/Ha).
