Production Details Cooler, later vintage with extended hang time and optimal phenological ripening. Lower pH and higher natural acidity than previous years. 25 harvest batches from March 9-30. Most parcels received two weeks skin contact before pressing. Aged 18 months in 50% new 500L Hungarian and French oak barrels, followed by additional 16 months in large format wooden foudre. Dryer style vintage with fine balance between sugar and acidity.
Tasting Notes Bright light gold; apricot, sandalwood spice and Seville marmalade aromas, with nutmeg, citrus, jasmine flower and rose water; creamy, rich and textured with delicate wood spice, crisp acidity, salinity and a long, pithy, nearly bitter finish.
