Production Details Grapes hand-picked at sunrise in the Bekaa Valley and swiftly transferred to the cellar in Ghazir. Fermentation temperature steady, never exceeding 29°C. Maceration lasting 2 to 4 weeks. During the first year, wine racked into Bordeaux-type barrels made from Nevers French oak, maturing 12 to 15 months. Released spring 2014. 2007 was an unusual year: frost on April 20th damaged young leaves, 30% of flowering failed resulting in a smaller harvest, and an August heat wave caused simultaneous maturity across all three varieties.
