Production Details Dégorgement Tardif disgorged December 2017. Very dry and hot year, no spring frosts, but some precipitation early September. Due to low water reserves in soil, weight loss concentrated the juices - a rare phenomenon in Champagne. A superb year, balance close to that achieved in legendary 1976 vintage. Terroirs from Grande Vallée de la Marne and Côte des Blancs. 43% Chardonnay, 57% Pinot Noir.
Tartaric Acid 7.0 g/L
Tasting Notes Dried fig, brioche, infusion, candied citrus and bergamot; dense and full palate, caressing bubbles and a very long finish.
Food Pairing Veal sweetbreads with orange; alternatively serve as an aperitif or at the beginning of a meal.
